Prayer
Hughesville Baptist Church believes in the power of intercessory prayer.
Toward that end, we have implemented a prayer ministry to respond to
prayer requests in our church body. This ministry includes an email
prayer chain and an emergency day and evening telephone prayer chain.

It is a
privilege and an honor to bring the needs of others before our Heavenly Father
in prayer. In Matthew 18:20 it says, "For
where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the
midst of them."
"And the
prayer of the faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.
Pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:15,16
